Shooting on Kilpatrick Dairy Farm Road

Haleyville business owner Gary Lynn Jackson, 41,  died Thursday, September 14 at approximately 4:20 p.m.  as a result of being shot with a 9mm pistol. Haleyville police answering a 9-1-1 call found Jackson lying in the drive in front of his mother and step-father's house at 381 Kilpatrick Dairy Farm Road. He was transported by ambulance to Lakeland and was pronounced dead a short time later. Gary Jackson's step-father,   Dale Eugene Pfatzgraf, 72, is being held in the Marion County jail, in Hamilton, charge with murder. His bond has been set at $250,000.
